My main interest remains in the field of the history of taxation during the modern era. I am particularly interested in the history of the Spanish Empire in Europe, America and Asia during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. I have also researched in the gold and silver production of the mines of San Luis Potosí during the seventeenth century and conducted some research in the field of Social Network Analysis (SNA).

In this space you can find some information about my ongoing research and past projects. I have also uploaded some databases on the site so that they can be used by other researchers. Finally, some maps of Spanish America have been placed in the cartography section; feel free to grab them if they are of any use for you.
